Michael Dobson - 2010 Boys Squad

Michael Dobson II Degree Junior Black Belt, member of South Leamington Taekwondo Club has been successful in securing a place on the 2010 England Boys Squad.

Michael started Taekwondo in 2002 at the age of 6 at the Sydni Centre, Leamington Spa.  He has train consistently for 8 years under the instruction of Mr McAteer III degree Black Belt and was Mr McAteer’s first ever student.
 

He passed his I degree junior black belt on March 19^th 2006 and then went on to pass his II degree junior black belt on 7^th November 2009.

Michael has entered competitions all his Taekwondo career but with little success, until the last 2 year when he entered the Central TKD Inter Club Tournaments and achieved silver medals in sparring and patterns in 2009 and achieved gold medals in both sparring and patterns in 2010.  

All Michael’s hard work and perseverance has been rewarded by his achievement in being selected for the Junior National Squad.
