Central TKD Interclub Champs

On Feb 14th 2010, Central Taekwon-do held their 2010 Interclub Championships. This has proved to be a very popular event due to its friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Despite numbers being slightly down ( Valentines day and school holidays !) , there were still over 120 competitors trying to win the sheild for their club.
The day started on time with a large pee wee division, which had some of the best bouts of the day !
Then whilst the juniors were on it was noticed that Shipston Club were edging into the lead.
Special Guest on the day was GTUK President , Master Oldham, who at lunchtime was 'thrilled' with an unrehearsed Black Belt Demonstration.
The afternoon went well with the adults and black belt divisions making some interesting points scores.
 The Tournament finished at 4.00pm and it was time to read out the scores;

2nd              Shipston     92pts
3rd         North Leam     71pts
4th               Kineton      51pts
5th                Solihull      47pts
6th         South Leam     43pts
7th   Balsall Common   26pts
8th               Coventry     6pts
9th               Gloucester  1pt

The next Interclub Championships has already been booked for Sunday 27th Feb 2011.
